Effective from 5 October 2026. Last updated: 5 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Aníkúlápó Services (PTY) Ltd (registration number 2024/596934/07) is a cleaning, maintenance and facility-support company. We are Gauteng-based and serve clients across South Africa. For the purposes of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA), we are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy.

Information Officer: Tandwa Ngomane, Chief Intrapreneur Officer.
Contact: services@anikulapo.net · 079 551 8796 · 087 551 1429

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal information we receive through our website, in particular the Request a Quote form, and through email, phone or WhatsApp when you contact us about our services. It does not cover information we hold about employees or suppliers, which is handled under separate internal arrangements.

3. What we collect

When you send a quote request we receive the information you type into the form:

  • your name;
  • your company or organisation, if you give one;
  • your email address;
  • your phone number;
  • the service you require and the type of property or site;
  • the location or service area (suburb or town);
  • a preferred date, if you give one;
  • your message describing the work.

The form handler also records the date and time of the submission and technical information needed to detect spam and abuse. The handler stores a one-way hash of the IP address the request came from, not the address itself, together with the outcome of the submission, its reference number and the type of service and site you chose. It does not store the content of your message.

We do not ask for, and you should not send, special personal information as defined in POPIA (such as health, religious or biometric information), identity numbers or banking details.

4. Why we collect it

We use the information to:

  • respond to your request and prepare a quotation;
  • contact you to confirm details or arrange a site inspection;
  • deliver and administer the service if you go ahead;
  • keep a record of the enquiry for our own business records;
  • detect and prevent spam, fraud and misuse of the form.

We do not use your information for marketing unless you have asked us to, and we do not sell or rent it.

5. Lawful basis

We process your information because it is necessary to respond to a request you made and, where you become a client, to conclude and perform a contract with you. Where we keep records after an enquiry, we do so to protect our legitimate interests in running the business and to meet legal obligations.

6. How long we keep it

  • Quote requests that do not lead to work: deleted from our email and records within 12 months of the last contact.
  • Requests that lead to work: kept for the duration of the service relationship and for as long afterwards as the law requires for business and tax records.
  • Form-handler logs used for spam and abuse detection: deleted within 30 days.

7. Who we share it with

Nobody, other than GoDaddy, the company that hosts our email and website, which stores and transmits the messages on our behalf. GoDaddy acts as an operator under POPIA and may only process the information on our instructions.

We do not share your information with marketing companies, data brokers or any other third party. We will disclose it if the law requires us to.

8. Where it is stored

Your quote request is sent by email to services@anikulapo.net and stored in that mailbox. The website itself does not keep a database of submissions. If an email fails to send, the form handler keeps a copy of the request on the web server, outside the public folder, until it has been actioned, so that your request is not lost. Our website and email run on a server operated by GoDaddy in Europe, which is outside South Africa. We rely on the provider's contractual and technical safeguards as permitted by POPIA.

9. How we protect it

The quote form is sent over HTTPS, is protected against automated abuse and validates what is submitted before sending it. Submissions are emailed to services@anikulapo.net. Access to that mailbox is limited to the people who need it to respond to your request. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to prevent loss, unauthorised access or misuse. If a security compromise affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify the Information Regulator and you as POPIA requires.

10. Your rights

Under POPIA you have the right to:

  • be told what personal information we hold about you;
  • ask for a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct or delete it;
  • object to our processing of it on reasonable grounds;
  • object to direct marketing (we do none without your consent);
  • complain to the Information Regulator.

11. How to make a data subject request

Email the Information Officer, Tandwa Ngomane, at services@anikulapo.net with the subject line "POPIA request". Say what you would like us to do (tell you what we hold, give you a copy, correct it or delete it) and give the name and email address you used on the form so we can find your record. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period POPIA allows. The Information Regulator publishes prescribed forms at inforegulator.org.za (Form 1 to object to the processing of your information, Form 2 to ask for it to be corrected or deleted). You may use them, or tell us in your email and we will help you complete them.

There is no charge for a request to correct or delete your information; if a charge applies to a request for access, we will tell you before we proceed.

If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): POPIAComplaints@inforegulator.org.za, telephone 010 023 5200 or toll-free 0800 017 160, Woodmead North Office Park, 54 Maxwell Drive, Woodmead, Johannesburg, 2191.

Our PAIA manual is available on request from the Information Officer.

12. Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and does not use localStorage or sessionStorage. It loads no analytics, advertising, chat or social-media scripts, and no third-party fonts or content delivery networks. Our web host may keep standard server access logs for security purposes.

13. Children

Our services are for adults and organisations. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact the Information Officer and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our processes or the law change. The current version is always at anikulapo.net/privacy.html, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on this page for a reasonable period.
